SAT Sets Minimum Pre-paid Land Tax Rates
Jun. 4 – The State Administration of Taxation set minimum rates for pre-paid land taxes in a statement on its web site yesterday.
Setting higher rates for the developed eastern regions and lower rates for central and western China, the SAT declared that the minimum rate for pre-paid land taxes in eastern China would be set at 2 percent while the minimum rate for western China would be 1 percent. The rate for the central and northeastern regions was set at 1.5 percent.
The statement was dated May 25.
