Dezan Shira & Associates Hire Senior U.S. Practitioner

Jan. 30 – Dezan Shira & Associateshas just announced the hiring of Hank Bourg to their Shanghai office. Hank joins the company from LimeLife, Inc. a venture capital company based in Silicon Valley, California.

Bourg brings with him expertise and experience for American investors looking for investment legal and tax advice in China and Asia. He will work with the firm’s team of Chinese lawyers and accountants and act as a liaison point with Dezan Shira’s North American clients.

He is a Louisiana State University graduate in Accounting with a Master of Business Administration degree from Santa Clara University. He has been a licensed U.S. CPA since 1986 and was a partner with Ernst & Young in Texas.

Chris Devonshire-Ellis ,the firm’s Senior Partner said: “The hiring of a senior executive such as Hank further demonstrates the fact that we see the current global recession as an opportunity to aggressively expand our business.”
