April China Briefing out now
April 1 – The April issue of China Briefing magazine is out now and available for download (please click on the picture at the right).
In this issue, we take a look at China’s restricted industry sectors and the big ticket investments that inevitably go with them. Long approval processes, years of waiting for the regulatory environment to change, the need for a Chinese partner, and restrictions in permitted activities can all be daunting. We examine specific industry environments and take a look at the role of the JV in restricted industry sectors. We also take a look at five more, second- and third-tier cities.
The issue includes:
Required capital, industry restrictions, and application procedures in China’s banking, energy and automotive sectors
