Dezan Shira Looking to Acquire Regional China Consulting Businesses
Dec. 30 – Dezan Shira & Associates is in the market to acquire similar consulting practices across China as part of its plans for expansion and growth in 2012. The firm, which in 2012 celebrated its 20th year of operations in China, possesses 12 Chinese offices in its own right with a staff of several hundred. The practice also owns China Briefing, and has additional offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, and India.
Dezan Shira & Associates specializes in providing corporate establishment, including legal and regulatory work, tax advisory, accounting, payroll, due diligence, and audit services exclusively to foreign investors in China. Consulting practices in China with a similar business scope are being sought for acquisition.
“We are looking for consulting practices in similar professional fields to ourselves and with an existing international client base. We are open to locations in China, however the client base must be there. We offer a national infrastructure, proven marketing and global support that can drive additional business into China. We need the locations. If there are smaller firms out there that may need assistance to get to the next level they may consider talking to us,” comments Dezan Shira & Associates’ Founding Partner Chris Devonshire-Ellis.
Interested parties may email the firm’s China Managing Partner, Alberto Vettoretti in strictest confidence at alberto@dezshira.com
