Suzhou Government to Grant Incentives for Headquarter Enterprises
Apr. 22 – The Suzhou municipal government recently released investment incentives to speed up the economic growth of headquarter enterprises in the city starting in May.
Under the municipal industry policy, qualified headquarter enterprises setting up in Suzhou can enjoy a one-time subsidy of 1 to 3 percent – depending on registered investment capital – of a maximum of RMB60 million. The policy also introduces other preferences to headquarters in Suzhou, such as subsidized office accommodations, business contribution awards, and talent allowances.
Headquarter enterprises refer to operational headers and branch offices of international companies, national and large regional enterprises, and research and development centers. The objective of the investment policy is to get more than 200 qualified and competent headquarter enterprises to set up business operations in the city by 2015.
